Red Oyster Yacht Club is located in the north east of Taiwan with the Pacific Ocean as their sailing area as well as the area near the “Turtle Island” which is 10 kilometers off the coast.  Among the island's features are high cliffs, steaming fumaroles, mountain peaks, sea-eroded caves, and best of all, the famous “Milk Sea,” a spectacular phenomenon resulting from the combination of the cold seawater and the hot spring water from the seabed. “God has spilt the milk” is the phrase referring to this dreamlike scene. The schools owner and instructor Allen Sheng, is a Yachtmaster Offshore licensed captain. He has been sailing and racing for over 12 years. Allen has great respect and passion for the ocean and is committed to his profession. Allen will devote as much time as possible to help anyone who wants to learn how to harness the power of the wind.

School of Sailing Forward is located at the south west of Taiwan, in the ancient city of Anping, Tainan, and enjoys continuous year-round sailing of the beautiful Pacific Ocean coast line thanks to protected harbor made possible by YuGuang Island. Among Anping's features beyond rich historical and cultural history is proximity to Nanwan Bay and Orchid Island. The schools owner and instructor Bob Chiang, is a lifelong lover of all things related to water sports; including, sailing, wind surfing, stand up paddling (SUP) and swimming. He became a certified IYT sailing instructor in 2016 but has lived, taught sailing and sailed in Canada for 20 years. He has vast experience in cruising and racing in Taiwan, Canada, Mainland China and Japan. He is fluent in English, Mandarin, Taiwanese and knows conversational Japanese. Bob loves teaching others how to sail and develop into sailors with a passion for the sea.
