Great Escape Sailing School focuses on recreational cruising sailors, we teach you to sail then let you take the boat by yourselves. Our instructors are all passionate sailors with many ocean miles, numerous regattas and years of sailing. Based out of Auckland’s Westhaven marina, Yacht Training offers the unique opportunity of running courses on a wide range of yachts. With a constant expanding fleet from 32-52ft monhulls and a 45 foot catamaran, you have the freedom of choosing the vessel to learn on that best suits your requirements. Sailing out of the city of Auckland, the Hauraki gulf is our playground with over a million hectares of sparkling blue waters and over 50 unique islands to explore.
